You read it correctly; your loveable PC Gamer intern’s last day was today (me, that is, not Norman). The time has come for me to pack up all the cool schwag, gear and t-shirts that I’ve accumulated in my time here at everyone’s favorite PC games magazine and head on home to the Pacific Northwest.

For me, this experience has been absolutely priceless. Working alongside people that I idolize (geeky, huh?) has been amazing, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. I’m glad I made the choice to come to San Francisco and do this instead of going straight into school! But hey, wouldn’t you choose playing video games for a year over the normal grind? I’ve left behind a video podcast of me giving my top five lessons learned here at PC Gamer, so please, check it out when it hits next week at www.pcgamerpodcast.com/video!

I’d also like to take a chance to thank you guys, the community, for making me feel right at home. The forum posts about me, the e-mails and getting to hang out with you at Showdown LAN 2007 have all made me feel like I was a welcome addition, so thank you.

But don’t think of me as gone, if you feel like keeping up with me follow my Twitter feed at http://twitter.com/asalisbury. I may not be Intern Intern Andy anymore, but still just as lovable without the title, right?
